Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Telephony Technician to support our clients as part of our Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. This role involves maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting telecommunication systems to ensure seamless connectivity and operation across our client network. Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems, including RingCentral, Avaya Cloud Office, Avaya IP Office 500, ESI, and other technologies for a variety of clients.
· Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving client telecommunication system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high levels of client satisfaction.
· Collaborate with clients to assess their telecommunication needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their communication infrastructure.
· Provide remote and occasional on-site support to clients, including technical training and system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to seamlessly integrate and update telecommunication systems.
· Maintain detailed documentation of client systems configurations, issues, and resolutions for continuous improvement and compliance.
Qualifications:
· , with a robust background in client-facing roles and extensive experience with systems such as RingCentral, Avaya Cloud Office, ESI, SIP trunks, and Avaya IP Office 500.
· Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
· Strong understanding of network infrastructure, VoIP, and client relationship management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Certification in telecommunications or related fields is preferred.
· Ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.
